Description
The satyr, which is otherwise undamaged, measures 28 cm in height (excluding the plinth); it is marked on the rim as follows: Sevres L.C. 99.2 Unfortunately, the jug’s handle and the horn in the right hand have been restored; there is a slight chip on the base. The matching cobalt-blue pedestal with a gold rim is marked S.92 (Sèvres 1892) and Dore a Sèvres 98 (1898) (it is slightly chipped in two places) Height: 3.5 cm
