Savonette for the Ottoman market, intricately enamelled silver case, circa 1870, in working order. Elaborately designed silver case (unhallmarked, tested) with coloured enamel decoration, gold-plated on the inside, marked 03 and 85505; the dust cover (brass) is marked ‘Le Roy Paris’ and ‘Metal EG.’; in good condition for its age. Functioning, clean movement with key-winding mechanism and lever escapement; runs for approx. 1 day; no guarantee as to accuracy or long-term reliability. Diameter 40 mm Weight approx. 54.5 g
