Description
Large pendulum clock set featuring chamois from the Black Forest, circa 1880 The imposing, carved case features several chamois (with glass eyes; two sets of antlers have been replaced), showing traces of old woodworm damage (minor). The four side tables are designed to match (a few missing pieces, see photos; glass inserts added at a later date) The working clock mechanism, featuring half-hour and hour chimes on a bell, as well as the spring suspension of the pendulum, is in working order.
