Description
Square case with numerous brass fittings, sound holes on the sides, handle on top, decorative pins, glazed bezel, some repairs; the base has been stabilised with copper nails. (see pictures) The movement features a Broco escapement and a spring-suspended pendulum; it strikes the half-hours and full hours on a gong, which is unmarked. It is in working order but has not been overhauled; therefore, no guarantee is given as to its accuracy or long-term reliability. The enamelled dial, featuring Arabic numerals and floral decoration, is in good condition. Dimensions: Height: 32 cm Width: 18 cm Depth: 13 cm A matching key and pendulum are included in the offer.
